Let's Recap! :D (AKA Why IVCF is the place to be)

 Hey everyone!

Prom Gone Wrong and the retreat were so fun we had to share a few highlights:

Prom Gone Wrong.

-Learned the dub step and how to fake the Thriller dance. Dance parties FTW!
-Had a delicious meal- with leftovers. Yay. :D

-Saw some seriously fabulous outfits. Congratulations to Moses and Elizabeth, our best-dressed male and female winners. You guys have got STYLE!

-Gave out prizes! Wonderful winners, be sure to spend those HMV gift cards on a compilation of 80s hits.

-Played Prom Quirks (our unique version of the classic Who's Line Is It Anyway game, Party Quirks). A unicorn that thinks she's a "real boy" turned out to be the real challenge for our party host.

Our unicorn's horn grows whenever she tells lies.

Retreat.

-Discovered that you haven't flash mobbed until you've spread seed in Queen's Park and planked in front of the ROM.

We spread seed- on the grass and on the path. ;)
"Mommy, what are those people doing?"
Everybody DOWN!
"These people aren't dead. They're sleeping." (Our code phrase to help each other back up.)

-Asked meaningful questions of complete strangers.

-Watched the gospel of Mark played out on stage. #amazing

If these events sound good to you, be sure to pop in on our upcoming events. Check out the listing on the blog!

See you! :)

Welcome!

Hello and Welcome to the Blog of Ryerson's Inter-Varsity Fellowship!

We are a community focused on building up students to be followers of Christ. We spend time studying scripture, learning together about God and the world around us, serving and having a lot of fun!

We have a few meetings during the week where people can:
- learn to cook, bake and experiment in the kitchen
- run and work out with a group of friends
- watch movies and discuss how they relate to our lives
- eat foods from around the world with pot-luck style dinners
- serve the communities that border our campus
- sing, dance and worship God
- pray and study Scripture

Everyone is welcome.
